Preschool of Business - Public Works Examples

Brooklyn’s Preschool of Business welcomes children between the ages of 2 to 5 in our Public Works classes. In these lessons, we provide an introduction to the basics of public works and how learning about it can benefit children. Our classes are designed to encourage the development of kids through the power of learning and play while instilling the values and principles behind Public Works.

For December, children will learn all about Public Works and its four main categories:

● Construction

● Traffic and transportation

● Solid waste

● Water and wastewater

Each class is also designed to provide kids with an understanding and awareness of how public works can help keep our communities safe for living, working, and playing. By enrolling your child in our December classes, you can help teach the next generation the importance of public works.

We’ll also be helping 2-5 year old students discover the world of public works in-depth, sharing exciting and relevant information that can help towards their development. Our classes will also provide you with all you need to keep them learning at home, and are designed to teach children about the role of public works in their lives. Our month-long classes were created specifically to:

● Teach children about the basics of public safety

● Introduce kids to the four fundamental areas of public works: water and wastewater, solid waste, traffic and transportation, and construction

● Encourage their interest in public works

● Increase their knowledge of what public works can do for them and the community
